The Basic-D V5 is delivered pre-configured according to the country of purchase, according to 9 pre-defined settings. These settings include:

Vertical and horizontal braille printing

As with any printer, the standard print format is to print horizontally on the page to create a portrait format. However, thanks to INDEX’s “Floating Dot Page” concept, it is possible to print Braille dots anywhere on the page, while retaining the possibility of double-sided printing.

This method offers flexibility that no other printer can offer today.

Lighting to refine the design
