You can use esys12 to send instant messages without even touching your mobile phone or PDA! Its 10 key Braille keyboard, gives you the possibility to reproduce all the standard key combinations, both for typing and navigation, it enables you to fully navigate your personal computer,Windows application as well as mobile phone and PDA. Use the two joysticks to easily control Microsoft Windows menus. Use the navigation wheels to faster browse through information. Thanks to esys12 automatic sleep‐mode, its battery life will allow you several days of autonomy.

Applications

Notepad: create *.txt, read and edit *.brl or *.brf files. Use basic functions such as “find”, “replace” or ”tag”. Save your document and create an advanced tree folder structure. Use the “read only” function to read a book or larger documents. Agenda: set up and post meetings. Check your planning using a weekly overview, select the date or event you want to edit. Information will be stored in a text file which can be transferred to your PC. Alarm Clock: set up different alarms for each day of the week. Calculator: execute calculations using plus, minus, divided and multiplied by as well as percentage or square root. Perform value conversions and use memory functions. Tools: check the correct operation of your esys12, test battery level, keyboard and Braille cell status, select an additional Braille table or set parameters for the software interface. This menu also assist the user to update to latest firmware version.
